Weh 'bout Ya Life?

I haven't checked in from my Life perspective since last December.  It seems as though I've been working on one project or another.  So let's see what I've neglected to share.  In November/December my grandmother passed away so I no longer have living grandparents on either side.  I was pretty down for a while about it because I loved all of my grandparents and now my future kids won't get to know how awesome they were.  Actually, I take that back, they will know because I will tell them.  So from January until May, I've been just doing the norm of going to work and coming back--writing a review here and there.  However, in May life got really good!

Ease on Down the Hallway (Hallway Series Part 1)

Weh di go aan?!  I've been a busy bee with a few things to update. I'll try my best to update more frequently but between getting things done in the house and working overtime I've been trying my best to keep this update.

So here's where we are in the house.  The last time I updated we painted the living room walls and trim.  You can read about it here.  We attempted to put up the moulding but it was really hard to do without the proper tools.  I'll explain more when we finally get it done but it is definitely a work in progress.  Right now I'm going to explain how we got here.

Kentucky Pride, Kroger Fried!

Weh Di Go Aan?!  So once again, we had the privilege of having a Kroger dinner brought to our home through BzzAgent.  We feasted on the Deli Fried Chicken and I have all the deets of our dinner.

Paint, Paint and Paint...This Time ONLY On The Wall!

Weh Di Go Aan?!  Alright, let's not talk about what a bad blogger I am.  Life will get in the way and before I know it time has passed before I have updated you all.  I hope you're loving the new design.  I need to play with it a big more but I'm pretty proud of the way it has turned out.

Well as you can tell from my blog title, I have been painting.  Painting a new room you ask? Um...not exactly.  I actually finished painting the living room I described here back in November prior to leaving for my Thanksgiving travels. Why did it take 8 months you ask? Because I tried to tackle the task by myself but it was too much.  I needed to move furniture and fixtures and had to concede that I needed assistance.  In steps in the hubs and our teen.  The process still took longer than I wanted but was much faster with the three of us working instead of one.  Also, the teen is taller than the both of us and getting those corners and trim was essential in completing the room.

 

Springtime Feast with Kroger

Weh Di Go Aan Friends?!  Long time no hear from me I'm sure.  Life has been busy and I know it's no excuse for posts being two months apart but I'm working on being better.  

Anyway, the most important reason this blog is to rave about my Springtime Feast on Kroger through my work as a BzzAgent.  Through BzzAgent, Kroger gave my family coupons to enjoy a Roast Pork dinner including sides and dessert completely on them.  I'll be honest we're not much of a pork eating family and I didn't have a clue as to where to start but I had tons of options.

Gin and Juice (well Ginger Ale)

Grace and Peace and Happy Valentine's Day!  I haven't been back in a long time and now I am here to do a review on some pretty good gin.  I'm not a gin aficionado but I know what taste good.  After doing my most recent BzzAgent campaing, Hendrick's Gin ranks high on that list.
